Back from Pre-Op visit

I just got back from my Pre-Op appointment at the hospital. It is a very small women's hospital and they are so nice there. I found out I do NOT need to do a bowel prep OR have an enema! Yippeeeeeeeeee! I will have an epidural with something that will put me in a "twilight sleep" I will be able to respond to their questions but not be too aware of what is going on.
TAH BSO Aug. 30 and getting a little nervous!

My pre-op was on Monday, and I don't have a bowel prep, either. Small miracles......

Aaargh! I get to do my first bowel prep..... The same doc did not require it when he tried to do a myomectomy. But, he is requiring it this time. If it makes it easier, then I guess I understand. But, still, YUCK!

TAH scheduled for 9/13

No bowel prep for me either. Thank God for that. I was really worried about that after reading some of the stories on this site. My surgery is scheduled for Mon, 8/30 at 7:00 a.m. Can't wait to get it over with. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!

I know how you feel. In many ways, I also wish it was over already!

I just keep focusing on how much better I'm going to feel after I'm healed. That's helping calm me down quite a bit.
