Shower today-felt awesome!

Background info: I was scheduled for Davinci removal`of uterus and cervix on 12/29. Woke up to find that I was cut from belly button down because my uterus was "cemented" to my abdominal wall from scar tissue that developed from a c-section 16 yrs ago! I was sent home with staples, a drain and automatic pain pump im my incision and lots of fear and sadness. Today my husband taped my tummy with saran wrap and I sat in the shower on a stool with my back to the spray.It was heavenly..so much so that I sat up for hours..too long. I am sore now.

Status now: alternating percacet and motrin every 4-6 hours, colace 2 times a day, antibiotic every 6 hrs. gas but no bowel movement. scared of that happening! little to no appetite. dr appt Mon to remove drain, pain pump and some staples

That first shower was wonderful! So soothing.
Hang in there - it will get better!

It will keep getting better!! I am scared too that things arent right or that things were very wrong. Trust that things will get better!
