2 years post op now thrush and spotting

Hi there I haven't posted in a long while. I had my TAH two years ago and I have healed really well. This week I have encountered a problem. I have got vaginal thrush. I haven't had sex in ages (TMI I know) but I have been really run down low and depressed. The thrush would be easily cured but help I'm spotting blood from my vagina. It is only a very small amount but I haven't a cervix. I kept my ovaries and although I am now forty seven I'm not menopausal. It might be nothing but I'm wondering where the blood is coming from vaginal cuff? Thanks ladies and thankyou for your continued support.

Perhaps the vaginal tissue is irritated from the yeast. Sometimes infections can cause that. I would talk to your doctor about maybe taking something orally for the candida. I used Monistat for my yeast and that just irritated the tissue all the more.

I would definately go and see by gyn. vaginal thrush can be caused by wearing a tight pair of pants, nylon underwear, the soap or perfume in a bubble bath or deodorant and even some antibiotics. the bleeding could be the result of the thrush, irritating the vagina like cmtsp mentioned.
