What would you say to doctor about needing second surgery since procedure not done?

I was to have a rectocele repair 'posterior Colporrhaphy" as one of my surgical procedures. My rectocele was my deciding factor to do my hysterectomy now. Well....as some of you may have seen me ranting, I have the operative report and only the hysterectomy and suspension were done. NOW, I have a second surgery, more bills more time off work etc. etc. I realized about 2 weeks after nothing had changed. now seeing the operative report there was no actual repair of the rectocele , only the suspension. I have two procedures listed now, the posterior colp. and perineopathy. So when I see him at hosptial next week I am going to askclearly and specifically why it was not done the first time since it was an initial procedure listed on my paperwork. his office had told me on phone a week after surgery that the operative report said it was done, but report I obtained says posterior colpotomy, which is merely the incision in back wall.....not any sort of repair of a rectocele, which the colporrhaphy (sp?) is....what would you all say? I mean it is so disappointing and now I only have 2-3 weeks for recovery from perineal stitches...where I had thought I would have had 6 weeks from lower vaginal stitches. So frustrating.

Your doctor might have chosen not to do so due to bleeding. I am sure he or she had a good reason. Please keep us posted.
