Ovaries: Kept 1 or both

I met with my surgeon today and he wants to schedule me for either the 23rd or 30th of September. His nurse will call me next week. My pain management doc talked to him today too and they have a plan in place to handle pain from the surgery and to keep the fibro in check, so that's taken care of. It will be LAVH, leaving both ovaries.

It sounds as if things are coming together for you. I am glad your fibro doc has a plan for your pain management. And it is good that you get to keep both ovaries.
