1 week post-op TAH/BSO and I'm bleeding!

I just woke up this morning bleeding vaginally. It's a very watered down blood - not thick. Not sure if this is normal or not. Anyone else have this happen?

I am 2 weeks post op and still have a little blood. I was told it is normal. Probably for another week or so.

If this bleeding is a change, you might want to call your doctor if only for reassurance. Some bleeding is normal for up to a few weeks post-op, but bright red and enough to soak a pad an hour are the usually.

Call your doctor and keep us posted please!

I'm 9 days post-op and haven't been without a pad on since I left the hospital. Some days are heavier than others, and I find it increases or decreases with my activity level. My blood is bright red, but not enough to even soak a pantiliner after 12 hours. It's just.... there. I'm told it will probably taper to a brownish discharge and could last for up to 6 weeks.
