Hi

Here is a link to Hysterectomy Checkpoints, where recommendations are made as to what you should be doing at different weeks of your recovery.

The best things you can do is listen to your body, don't try to do too much too soon, and get all the rest you can.

thanks 4 ur reply. i'm having pain 2 my lower back and some discomfort inside. some discharge 2. standing 2 long makes me ache/throb.

It sounds like you could be doing too much. You should still be doing very little and not doing any lifting or vacuuming yet.

Short easy walks several times a day were about all I could handle. Sitting up straight for long periods of time caused me pain also.
