Re: Returning to work

I went back to my desk job yesterday with the intent of being there 5-6 hrs. Of course it ended up being closer to 7 before I got out of there By about the 5.5 hr mark, I was getting pretty uncomfortable tho. Came home with super swelly belly, went straight to the couch with heating pad & ice bag. So glad I didn't agree to 5 days a week yet & resting today before going back tomorrow. But I will definitely stick to my original 5-6 hrs for now.

Re: Returning to work

I am planning on full days. Tomorrow is just be working around the office catching up on work and emails I missed. Then after that, I will be going from school to school checking on my teachers and having meetings. Plus I am also working on my admin degree so plenty of homework too. I am sure I will be pretty wiped at the end of the day for awhile.

Re: Returning to work

I'm going back tomorrow, at 5 weeks. I've been working from home since day 3, but my boss called today and wants me back in the office. My doc knew I was working from home so he didn't restrict me.

Re: Returning to work tomorrow ~ any suggestions?

I went back st two weeks. When I returned home at 6:00 I went to bed to lay down with a heating pad and stayed there until morning. I also used a big pillow to sit on at work this helped with the vajayjay pain.

A pillow is a good idea, thank you. Hoping B12 helps with energy.

Re: Returning to work tomorrow ~ any suggestions?

I went back at 2 weeks post op. I have been working 5 hours and instead of taking a lunch, I take short breaks to put my feet up. I still feel super tired at the end of the day though. The best advice I can give you is to listen to your body and rest when you can

Re: Returning to work

Made it to work and in a snow storm no doubt. I am already tired! I can do this though. Brought a pillow for comfort and hubby is on call in case I need him to come get me so I can go home!
