Is anyone feeling tightness in upper part of abdomen?

Hello Ladies,
I had my LAVH on Jan 22nd and now i'm feeling a lot of tightness in my upper abdomen. I'm wondering is this normal and have anyone else felt this after surgery?

Yup totaly normal. Remember even if they didn't take anything out of that area, it was still streched and moved. Also there is still swelling which causes pressure too, also can be doubled if no bm yet, I went the first four days without being able to go.

Yes I get it to and my sides a little. I've read it's normal also. I'm glad quelith1983 had some input .I kind of thought it was gas 😣best wishes

Thanks for this thread. I'm 6 days out & I've had the same slight soreness in upper abs, more so on sides. It has the same feeling as doing too much core exercises. Thought I did something! Best wishes ladies

I have that too..like too many crunches!
