rash on incision-spreading-meds not working

I have a rash that started 2 weeks into recovery. All around incision- ITCHES. Dr said looks like yeast and gave fungal/steroid cream and oral Diflucan. Now its spread to back. Doesn't look like chemical burn from wash used prior to surgery. Not diabetic or otherwise immune compromised.

Any new laundry detergent, lotions, etc? Try some benedryl cream, if that doesn't help take it orally (don't use together and ask your dr if you're unsure if you can take it).

Re: rash on incision-spreading-meds not working

In my first week of recovery i developed heat rash that started at my incision and spread to the rest of my body. After turning the heater down and lowering the heat on my heating blanket it went away.
