Any way to ease nerves?

My surgery isn't until Wednesday. But I have become so anxious, nervous and emotional. I have barely slept, is there any way to relieve my nerves? I'm only 23 and no kids , so I feel a lot of emotions!

I'm so sorry for your situation. I konw that along with being nervous about the surgwry, you are worrying about many other issues.

In regards to the surgery itself, we all are nervous before. Keep as busy as you can. Please know that as soon as you get to the hospital, they will take over. Once they give you the anesthesia, you will start to relax and feel much better before quickly drifting off. When you wake up, it will be over, and your pain will be controlled. EVERYTHING WILL BE OK, amd you will know what those of us on the other side have found out...the worst part of it all is the fear and worrying before.

I have read posts here about other young women in similar situations as you, so you have come to a great place for support. Lean on the sisters before and after surgery.
