Please I need advice (updated)

Surgery is set for Monday morning.

I talked with the office of one of the surgeons (it will be attended by an obgyn and a general surgeon) and so far only a scope and removal of adhesions is definite. Depending on what they find, they will automatically change to an abdominal incision. The obgyn is not going to do a hysterectomy unless it is necessary or if she thinks that the pain is coming from the uterus. I think that I'm all right with that. I don't want a hysterectomy, but if they don't find the source this time, I don't see ever revisiting this place of inner terror.

The surgery will be on the day before the 10th anniversary of Mikey's death. At least it is not on the anniversary, and for this I am thankful.
