Cold feet at 2 weeks post hysterectomy

Hi-I had surgery Aug 10. My feet are ice cold. I put socks on and blankets but no luck. I am having terrible hot flashes too. What a crazy combination.

Anyone else having icy cold feet? Anything help?

First of all, welcome to the other side

I was experiencing sensitivities to the cold involving my feet. Socks didn't help. I was also gaining weight so my GP checked my thyroid and my FSH level had sky rocketed. Turns out that she diagnosed me with hypothyroidism and I now take medication daily for it. I am still struggling to lose weight but I no longer have cold feet.

Nice big puffy socks were my favorite till I had a hot flash then I would be ripping those suckers off. Working through the hot flash then shower and start all over again. I'm 9 weeks post op and I think my ovaries have finally woken up and are starting to regulate my hormones again.

I had chills, then hot flashes, and it was an emotional roller coaster for me. But, at 9 weeks I can say all is well except I need one more week before sex.
