LAVH 7 wks post-op, swollen ankles and feet

Hi everyone..have a question...
I am 7 wks. post-op LAVH, kept my ovaries, and I have never experienced swollen ankles and feet before ever, that I am aware of. No other parts of my body, just ankles and feet. I am curious, has anyone else had this occur post-op just because, or should I be worried that it could be part of another medical condition? any feed back would be great so I can quite freaking out!

I came here today for pretty much the same reason. I'm 9 weeks post-op and for the last week my hands and belly have been swelling. My hands have never swollen like this before and I'm miserable

I researched online and couldn't find any answers, I really am hoping to get us some replies!!!

Sorry to hear you are hurting. Are you retaining water possibly? I have found that when I swell in my feet, legs and hands, it is due to retaining water. I talked to my family doctor yesterday and he told me that he wants to make sure my thyroid is in check before he puts me on any kind of diaretic. Here's to happy healing.
