Sick of this feeling

I am 5 1/2 weeks post op and i keep getting this extreme discomfort in my vagina. For example i weedwhacked the yard and then this morning went to my neices softball game and had to stand for three hours cause no where to sit and now more then ever it feels like inside of my vagina is swollen, soo much pressure and almost like a bearing down feeling when i inhale. It gets like this quite often. Is it just that i overdid it?

I've had this on and off as well. I haven't noticed a direct connection with overdoing it though. Was your uterus removed vaginally? Mine was, and my surgeon thinks that this discomfort is a result of the trauma.

Yes, cervix and uterus were both removed thru vagina. Thing is I had three kids vaginally and without pain meds and didn't feel like this lol.

Your hormones prepared your body for a vaginal birth, but unfortunately, you didn't get any help with the hysterectomy. Bummer, I know...

Wow, I can't imagine trying to run a weed eater right now, but I'm only 16 days out. I would bet that it is the fact that you overdid it but you should ask your doctor about it.
Giving birth is natural, none of this stuff is even close to natural, we have been assaulted from the inside out!
