tanning bed?????

Does anyone know if it is ok to go to a tanning bed after surgery? I know that I should probably cover the incision. I also have stints in my kidneys and bladder. I hope this doesn't sound stupid since the stints are inside of me.
Thanks and prayers for everyone

It's actually never safe to go in a tanning bed. The rays are actually much stronger that the real sun. Skin cancer is nothing to mess with.

tanning bed?????

Well my doc told me that I could after 2 weeks, but I haven't done it yet. I had a TVH with repairs done on the 7th of May. Just check with your doc and see what he tells you.

I agree with GizmoCat - - - tanning is never safe. There are tons of quality self-tanning lotions/creams/sprays etc. on the market today. You should try some of them. The St. Tropez line of products smell good & look like a real tan. Good luck.
