New to site!

I am having either a TAH OR TVH on Sept 10, 2004. I go to my Surgery Consultation tomorrow. I am getting a little scared now ( the recovery mostly ). I will be soooo glad to not have to go through all this pain & suffering anymore!!! Even though I know it will be awhile before I feel human again. I have had some friends at work who have gave me some grief over my surgery. One of them actually said " Well, you finally talked your Dr into this! "
Like I enjoy going through pain 3 weeks a month! Anyway, I am glad I found this site. I have been reading some of the posts and have already learned some things I did'nt know.
I will post again after my consultation tomorrow. If anyone has suggestions I would love to hear them. Also would love any prayers!!!!!
Hugs to all!
Lisa

Hi Lisa

It's quite natural to be scared and nervous as your date approaches. I don't think you'd be human if you weren't a little.

Just wanted to wish you all the very best for your pre op appointment tomorrow and your upcoming surgery. Take care and keep reading!!!!!

((( Lisa )))

My suggestion is to make a list of your questions so that you won't forget any at your consultation. Some ladies like to have someone there with them also , so that nothing is missed.

Best wishes, you'll be in my
