Pre-Op Testing

I went to hospital yesterday for pre-op tests, CBC, BMP, Chest Xray and EKG. All seemed pretty good. My hemoglobin is finally up to 11, it has been 9.5 for awhile. Guess those big old iron pills are working! I have been waiting since November and now it seems so real. Mar. 7, 9:30 is my time, go to castle at 8:30 so that will work pretty well. I am having it at the hospital I work at so I feel very blessed as most of the nurses are friends of mine and I will feel comfortable with knowing my surroundings. Go to Dr. on the 4th for pre-op questions and follow up on a abnormal mammogram, they don't suspect CA just a density area or something. Any other Mar. 7, LIW out there?


TAH/BSO for anemia, fibroids, mass on lt. ovary, uterus 16cm, flooding and clotting.


(My mind writes checks my body can't cash.) Funny how you can feel 21 mentally and 91 physically!!!!!!!

Great! Only one week to go. I'm glad to hear your hemoglobin is up. I had a scare a couple of weeks before and needed an emergency transfusion so I'm always glad when someone has an "eye" on it! Your time will be here in a blink of an eye.
