home from the castle

I'm home from the castle. All went well without any complications. Have not had to take many pain medications but I do get tired of sitting up fast. The hard part is finding a comfortable possition to lay in. Tired now so will log in later.

Remember to be a good princess. Get lots of rest, take short easy walks,

I understand about finding a comfortable position. I am now 3 months post-op and am a side sleeper but could not sleep on my side at all. Had to stay on my back and am just now finding it a little more comfortable on my side but for short periods of time so it does take a while for things to heal.

Hang in there - make sure you have everything by your bedside close by so you don't have to stretch and don't overdo it. As we have heard many times on this site by the other ladies "you only have one chance to heal properly" so be good to yourself.
