Stick a fork in me, I'm DONE!

Had my TAH-BSO on Wednesday 7-28. Few surprises uncovered hiding under those fibroids and my two uteruses, but nothing that wasn't nipped and snipped just fine!!

Came home on Friday the 30th - and am doing well, just moving slowly and drinking water (with an occasional cocktail of prune juice

I wanted to let those who are waiting know that the absolute worst part of the whole ordeal is the WAITING!! Seriously! I wish I had believed that when people told me - because it's true. Just get as ready as you can and find a way to distract yourself until your day comes!

Stick a fork in me, I'm DONE!

I was just thinking about you and wondering how you'd made out. I'm so glad to hear that all went well and the double uterus didn't pose any problems during your surgery. By the way, were they totally seperate or were they connected? Wishing you a speedy recovery...

Welcome home. Now be a good princess and remember your training: lots of rest, drink plenty of fluids, rest, take short walks around the house, and rest.

We'll look for all further updates on the PostOp forum.

Best wishes for a smooth, uneventful recovery!

So glad all went well. Hope your birthday was happy!!

Here's to a smooth road to recovery.

p.s. I agree, the waiting is truly the worst part. We put ourselves through a lot more suffering than is necessary!!

I'm very happy that things are going so well for you. Comments from people like you have made the waiting easier and a little less scary. I'm looking forward to being "FREE" of the problems.
Thanks again for your input.
