3 days to go and poor dh

Well, I have three days to go and I am losing it. I have a very fast paced job and it is always really crazy at the end of the month. My poor husband is my assistant and he is "catching it all" if you know what I mean. The past week I have been very short and going through alot of crying spells. Not only that, I am ready to start. What a combo huh? This morning takes the cake. I woke up this morning knowing that this is the day when I completely break down, well 2 hours later I did. My poor dh, he must think I am psycho or I am possessed by some demon. After I got out of the tub, i went in the spare room to look for some underwear. Well, I was nude and bent over a basket next to the door. He opened the door and poked his head in and all the poor guy wanted was to know is where we were going to go shopping (and to top it off it was for me). Without looking, I took my hand at shut the door and yelled at him to close the door so the kids don't see me. Well guess what got caught? Yep you guessed it, HIS HEAD! Oh was he mad! After a few minutes of me hiding and him storming off yelling to do laundry, I burst out into tears for about 10 minutes and hugged him remorsfully (sp) and apologized. I feel terrible and I can't stand what this mental torture is doing to me. Can anyone relate? Oh ya, I am having a LAVH removing uterus, cervix, maybe right ovary.

Ok, take a deep breath, you need to stop and think about all the positives of this surgery. What you are feeling is so normal. I am sure you will be telling me this in a few weeks (4/13 surgery date for me). Don't feel guilty for the way you are acting, just let DH know you love him and its going to be ok. Enjoy that shopping spree, you deserve it. Laugh, its really the best medicine there is. I am thinking of you as we all are. Please let us know how you are doing. Cheryl
