Unhappy - Went for ultrasound! Went for ultrasound!

Well, just a little recap, I have been have pain in my left side and I had a hyst and my rt tube and ovary removed last Sept. Now they are talking about taking the left. When the dr did the pap he said he could feel swelling. But wanted an ultrasound first. SO I went for that today and the tech said there was a cyst and my ovary was swollen. It was very painful. Then she started asking me about endrometrosis (Spelling?) and then said that sometimes ovaries will twist. Then out of the blue she asked if they gave me pain meds and I said no. Then she said if it starts hurting call us and go to the ER. So that freaks me out and the dr is supposed to call me tomarrow with the results. I know she couldn't tell me much but it kind of freaks me out. Well I'll keep everyone posted.

Went for ultrasound!

Your circumstances seem to be ALOT like my own. I also had a TAH and an LSO in 6/05. Currently I have a complex cyst on my rt ovary it measured 5 cm in Sept. I've been on birth control pills and return to dr on 11/20. Hopefully it's shrunk but the symptoms have lingered so I'm just not sure? I'm certain when the dr. calls he will fill you in on the next step. Maybe, it will just be a watch and wait like mine or perhaps some blood work and additional testing? Please, keep us posted with whatever news you receive. It sure helps to know that there are others that are going thru similar situations...
