LAVH 6 days post hysterectomy: Worried about discharge from vagina and anal region

I had a hysterectomy and ovary removal 6 days ago. Laparoscopic and vaginally. I have 4 small incisions and also have vaginal stitches. I haven't had a BM yet. This morning there was some discharge but it seems like it's coming from my bottom rather than my vaginal area. I also had some blood on my wipe from the anal area. I haven't even had an urge to go to the bathroom. I have taken stool softeners every day with my coffee since my surgery. Yesterday I didn't eat anything solid. Strictly liquids all day. So if I am having a discharge from both openings before even trying to go, what's going to happen when I try to have a BM?? I'm scared to try!!
