surgery on 4/11, where do I post story

Well, yes the gas pains are there, but they are passing fairly well now. First BM happened in hospital after being given suppository(?), happened once at home now.

I am a side sleeper and have not been able to lay on my side yet.

I was wondering, does anyone know where I can go to post my story?

TAH/BSO, Dr. could not find right ovary due to large amount of adhesions, had endo also, not sure what else found until I go in for checkup on 26th.

Glad to hear that you are starting to feel better. A suggestion for sleeping, I had a body pillow which was the best thing I could have found to help me get comfortable when sleeping. Also, with regard to posting your hospital stay....Go to "More Forums" and then to "Post you hyster story".

Take one day at a time and don't over do it......Denise

to post op. You have made it past some big hurdles already-having a BM, getting home from the hospital

I had a big incision due to a TT also, and I could not sleep on my side until after 4 weeks.

I have also read that the arm and shoulder pain can be from trapped air migrating to that part of your body. I read that somewhere and it happened to my beautician after a C-section. But I don't know if it can happen after a hyst.

I had lots of pains and aches for a few weeks. I used ice on my stomach and a heating pad on my back and shoulders. Everything was just sore for awhile.

Hi I am a 4/11 person too, I wasn't allowed out of the castle till Fri due to your same problem.

They also gave me a supository, worse than labor cramps.

But home now and doing ok. Tired

Let me know where you are posting your story I would like to stay uptodate with my fellow surgery mates.
