Feeling Good

Hi,
I am recovering very well. Feel very good. Was able to go to the bathroom this morning without drinking prune juice... (Thank the lord... lol) I hate prune juice. Almost feel like my old self. Except for the swelly belly and gas... Ouch...... Bled a little lastinight, strained trying to catch my dd from falling off the chair.. I want so bad to be back to normal , doing all of the things that I used to do, but know if I push it, I will regret it..
My mom keeps that fresh in my mind. She has been wonderful. If she was not here, I would probably be doing a lot of things that I should not be doing. I really want to post my story, but dm is here and don't want to ignore her for that long. She lives far away, and I don't get to see her that much. Have not heard from the other ladies that had their surgeries on the same date, am concerned for them.. Anyone heard from them?? I don't want to name names or they will remove my post....... This has been such a different experience, this whole thing. Can't wait to talk to you all more in depth. Miss all of you soooooooooo much.. All of the ladies that are headed to the castle are in my prayers...

Hi! I am glad to hear that you are doing well. I have my LVAH on August 1st and this site has been great...both before the surgery and after.

Your DM sounds like a gem!!! My DH stayed home with me for last week, but, went back today. My house is a mess (5 kids gone wild) but, he is picking up now that he is home. I kind of feel bad for him. I did wipe up the kitchen this morning, swept the floor and did some dusting because I felt horrible leaving it for him!

So glad you are doing well. Your mom sounds wonderful. My mom wanted to come help me, but thankfully dh took the week off. I probably would have killed her. lol Definitely take it easy and rest. I'm finding it hard to do, but I don't want to screw this up!
