Expectations...

Hi Everyone.
I am 34 years old and I am scheduled for a TAH on November 5th due to endometriosis. I have delayed this surgery for 2 years now but my doctor told me on the last visit that my options have extinguished. I am anxious, confused, scared and excited all at the same time. I deal with pain every day so the thought of feeling good with no swelly belly sounds awesome to me right now. I worry about the logical things such as the pain, surgery and so forth but one of my biggest fears is that I won't be able to sexually satisfy my husband after this. Can anyone offer me advice that may relieve my fears of this?

LOL....As far as satisfying your Hubby. He is uncapable of satisfying himself? It is only for around 6 weeks that he will have to go without. Besides you can help him out in that aspect.

Don't worry about him. Do this for you and take care of yourself. He will thank you for it later.

Well you do have a point there! I guess I didn't word my question right -- I'm not worried about him during the 6 week period. Believe me that is going to be MY time for a change. My question is in regard to will sex be the same after the surgery?
