I'm sure that the teacher got a good laugh over the Joan of Ark answer. It may make it into her memoirs. Unless she is one of those nuns who have absolutely no sense of humor. I taught for 31 years and I would have loved to get that as an answer--- and enjoyed it even more when the child told me that "daddy told me this".

Let the teacher's know that daddy will again be helping with the homework and she'll be looking out for things like this. It is just nice that he will help. Gotta love him for trying.

I am 60 and I love to mother my adult children when I visit them so rest assure that your mom is looking forward to helping her "baby" take care of her "babies."

All will work out fine. Don't sweat the small stuff and it's all small stuff.

Thanks...i did have a good chuckle, one more funny thing he has done was when the kids had to send in a saint they liked he said "saint Anthony, why b/c he was the only one who brought pasta to the last supper" ok there is more i will save some for later....my kids are sure gonna have a warpped sense of catholic education...i am also so blessed with my mom. she will be a tremendous help and i know she doesnt mind helping me. it is me that feels bad that i need to count on others to do my job. i just like beating myself up these days. i know what comes around goes around, and someday i will get to repay all those who have helped me..
