Thank you ladies for your best wishes. I did slept a little better, the problem is that today I haven't had the energy to get out of bed. I still have sharp pains, followed by a nagging burning pain all over my abdomen. I cannot really tell where is it?

I am about to take Percocet, which I never took following the surgery. Right now tramadol does not work, and gives me insomnia. Ibuprofen does not eliminate the burning sensation at all. Drs office contacted me, and was told to finish antibiotic and wait weekend for relief. We'll see how it goes.

Hope you are all doing great!

Your fighting a bad infection on top of recovering from major surgery so it's perfectly normal and Ok to not feel like getting out of bed and doing anything. Kick back and relax so you can get well. If the really bad pain doesn't subside after 3 days on your Cipro I'd call the doc just to double check on how he wants you to control the pain. Since he doesn't know exactly the nature of your infection it might not be a good idea to be taking left over meds unless he knows your taking them.Normally I'd be all for taking the leftovers ( I know, bad me) but you have this unidentified infection so it makes me think it's important you don;t do or take anything your doctor doesn't know about. I'm one of those over paranoid over worriers!!! If your doctor doesn't know the origin of your infection at this point you really have no way of knowing what your dealing with. Hopefully the Cipro works, but if not don;t hesitate to call your doctor! Much love, rest up!!
