LSH: Pre op appt was this morning

Okay I'm having a Laparascopic Supracervical Hysterecomy. I have only one ovary and because of a history of endometriosis, she's going to go ahead and remove it. The only thing staying is a very healthy cervix. I'm kind of relieved! I would have hated to have had another surgery in a couple years if endo was suddenly a problem again.

So is LSH the right abbreviation for what I'm getting? How about the ovary since it's not bilateral? LSH/OS? Hahahaha!!! Asked all the questions I had so I feel really good about it! Can't wait for my pampering this weekend!

I just had the LSH yesterday and kept cervix and both ovaries so I'm not sure about your procedure but Good Luck to you and I hope your recovery goes well.

It's Thursday but thanks! I'm so looking forward to the pampering... it'll definitely be a hair cut and pedi, will try to have highlights done as well.

I'm glad your preop went well too. It was a relief to find out exactly what the plan is and get all of my questions answered. I'm going to do a pedi on Monday.
