LAVH: Swelly belly...how long & how big?

Hello again! I have another question. How long does the swelly belly last and how big do you get? I followed the advice of several of the sisters and bought a couple of pairs of bigger pants and shirts, and I even got a couple maternity outfits with the thought that they're meant to be stretchy around the belly, but I'm not sure how long to expect it to last and just how big I will get. Is one size bigger than normal enough?

Keep your receipts, better to be prepared, but be aware that we are all different, there's definitely no one size fits all answer to this question... I have really had hardly any swelling, maybe a bit at the end of the day, but for the most part I'm smaller in this area than I was when I went in to surgery. My uterus was oversized and full of large fibroids, so as a result of taking it all out, my belly is smaller. It's "fluffy" for sure ;-) but all my yoga pants from before fit fine, and even make it feel better by compressing a bit in all the right spots. Expect and prepare for it, because it certainly seems the norm, but don't stress and worry on it! I was super worried because I have always had issues with my belly being larger than the rest of me, but in the end it wasn't an issue in my particular case. Good luck with your big day!
