Re: Bladder and hysterectomy

Mine is on the 4th.....am starting to get a bit apprehensive about pain. I am not in pain now - don't have fibroids or bleeding or anything - just the urinary and prolapsing. I ofter wonder if that is why I feel so full - who knows what is really falling down in there? Am having TVH with bladder repair (band) I am just so tired on not just being a leaky faucet but a faucet that is just....left on. Had six kids and been pg 10 times, so it's really not a big surprise.

Re: Bladder and hysterectomy

Good Luck Ellary and don't stress too much about the pain - I didn't have any and some have said just a bit of being uncomfortable with the VH. I wasn't in any pain prior to surgery either, hadn't had a period in 8 mts., but my prolapse wasn't getting any better. Now it's just great - no more buldge down below. I feel great. Bladder is good too.
