3 month checkup?

Hi all,

I just got off phone to my local surgery, and said i would like to see gp, coz still had no appointment for 6 week checkup, only to be told, my records state that my fisrt post op check up will be at 3 months, does that sound usual?

I live in Wales in the UK

I have got appoint to see gp at least, coz i need to all clear to start back to work on monday, when i will be 6 weeks post op

I don't know what is normal in Wales; here in the US most surgeons do a 2-week and a 6-week post op exam. I think going to your gp is a good place to start.
