when standing-felt like something fell

i am 7 weeks post op still having stabbing pains on the lower right side of my abdomen. Also today-i stood up and felt as if something in side of
me dropped. i'm having trouble with my urine leaking and feeling the need to urinate a lot. last visit i had the bladder problem but dr said no infection. go back tomorrow for check up. Has anyone had the problem that felt as if somthing inside dropped.

As you might have read on here already, your bladder can indeed 'drop' or prolapse into the vagina. It's often called 'anterior prolapse' or 'cystocele'. IF that's what's going on with you, you can have it checked out and confirmed by your Dr. The type of Dr. who is generally considered the pelvic floor specialist for women is a urogynecologist (UroGYN). That's the type my own GYN is. I have been very happy with the care I have received from the one I am with now.

There are several different types of incontinence/ urinary leakage. Please check the Glossary at the top of this forum for definitions as to what yours might be. It will help you describe it better to your own Dr.
