No Pap in 2 yrs

Hi Sisters:

My DR say's no need to do my Pap Smear now. He did Vaginal sonogram and determined that a TAH was needed along with BSO.

What do you think? Should I ask him to do a Pap anyway?

The reason I saw the DR was abnormal bleeding, and to have a PAP. Dr said can't do PAP because of blood at that time.

I don't know the reason for your hysterectomy but it seems to me that he should have done a complete exam so that he would know what he was dealing with during the surgery. Everything that is removed during surgery is sent to the lab for a pathology study but ...

If you want piece of mind and have not yet decided on surgery then make another appointment and have it done. Let us know what you do and why he didn't do a complete exam especially after 2 years
