Scared.. bleeding 2 wks after endometrial biopsy! (2014)

I think you made the right decision, esp. since your BF, who is with you and can see your condition, is concerned.

Just got home BP was 150/112, they gave me a saline IV plus antibiotics thru an IV and a catscan. I have Endometritis from the biopsy. The ER doc told me to stop the Doxycyline and started me on Flagyl and Levaquin for 10 days... worse part the Catscan showed something in both my lungs and a mass in my thyroid. He is sending my results to my primary doc so I can see an Endocrinologist and pulmonologist (not sure about spelling). If it's not one thing it's another. Thank you beautiful ladies on advising me to go to the ER. xoxo

I'm glad you went and got checked out. It's scary when you go in for one thing and they find something else, but at least you know early and you can get it treated if you need to. I hope you feel better soon.

Did they check your hemoglobin? IV therapy is useful but a short term therapy , meaning that once you eliminate the fluid, you are back where you started.

It seems like you got good care, and I guess your hemoglobin was not low enough to warrant giving blood, although 7 is getting very darned close to where you need it.

They actually said my hemoglobin was within normal and to keep up my iron regiment. Only thing elevated was my white blood cell which they said told them I had an infection.
