What do I ask?

At least you are making a list. I went for my 2 week check-up on Thursday and was so flabbergasted at the pathology report that I only asked one question. I just couldn't believe what the report said, so making a list will be a great thing to have. I wished I had asked for a copy of the pathology report while I was there since I had forgotten half of what she said by the time I walked out the front door. That might be something you want on your list.
Good luck and let us know how it went.

What do I ask?

Hi dreamaker 1268
Here are a few I could think of. Do you need more pain medication? Do you have questions about any activities such as lifting or how much walking you should do, housework? Will you be returning to a job? Do you have concerns about the timing for this and will you need to have time extended?
A lot of this depends on you and how you are feeling. If you are having any problems you will want to ask about those. I liked to ask what-if questions if I could think of things I was concerned might happen and ask what should I do if they do. Are you having any bleeding now? Are you concerned about discharge or stitches?
Are you having any problems with your bm's?
I saw my dr at 2 wks and 5 wks for regular check ups. It seems all drs are a little different. If you don't have many questions, its always good for peace of mind. Write down everything you even wonder about. I hope it goes well.
