I think I caught a virus or something yesterday

I went with the kids to the lake for a little while yesterday, did not swim, or over exert myself (just sat in a chair and watched everyone have fun)

Dinner was ready about 3 PM and I tried to eat, only took a couple bites and the chills and upset stomach set in so I came home.

I started throwing up as soon as I got here and was running a slight fever, now this morning I am having bowel issues.

I called my GP and they are working me in this morning.

I hope this doesn't interfere with my recovery!

I'm sorry that you are battling a flu bug on top of your surgery recovery. I went through the same thing (almost) last week. Around noon I started feeling crummy so lay down. Had a fever for the rest of the day with hurting all over etc. Went to Dr. next day who thought it was either a flare up of my fibromyalgia or 24 hour flu bug as my pelvic exam was good and my fever had left. Get lots of rest, drink lots of water and feel better soon.

I think I caught a virus or something yesterday

I am back from the doctor and I do have a virus, it is intestinal.

I have 3 days of antibiotics to follow the huge antibiotic shot he gave me and I should be fine.

I wonder why it is so easy to get viruses and infections right now? This is the 3rd one in 3 weeks.

I guess my imune system is just shot right now. Maybe I should move into a plastic bubble for a while (laughing)
