LAVH Feeling Lost

Hi there x
I had my LAVH on August 4th. All has gone well as far as healing, until today. I have pain in my lower left abdomen and a slight pain on the right side of my chest. Im feeling very low tonight. All of a sudden really. Its like a feeling of loss just hit me. Has anyone else experienced this?

I was hit a few days after my surgery with an extreme feeling of loss.

I would call the Dr about the chest pain for sure. Just to be safe. And also about the Blues. I know a few of my friends had trouble with feelings of loss after.

It hit me about 2 months out, just a feeling in the pit of my stomach that I was missing out, or would regret the surgery. But 11 months out, it's easier to remind myself of the horrible quality of life I had before there surgery, and it's reassuring to see all of the things I have been able to do since recovery was over! Prayers that you find a way to incorporate positives into that feeling and overcome the challenges that it brings.
