Back to work & seeing a little swelly belly ??

I've been back to work exactly 4 days now & notice that by the time I get home, I've got me a little swelly belly!

Had a TVH a month ago & noticed this in the very beginning but then it went away I guess. I've also been having slight twinges & what feels like little 'pulls' in the abdomen area.. nothing intense, but it is noticable. Just wondering if any others have experienced this. I've been keeping track of when the twinges happen, in case I end up having to call my Dr.

If anybody else has experienced these things, how long will it last??

Thanks in advance!!

Back to work & seeing a little swelly belly ??

I was feeling great at 5 weeks and completely recovered at 8 and 9 weeks. Swelly belly disappeared too. But...last week I overdid it without feeling it at the time. I did a lot of vacuuming, pushing/pulling furniture, cooking, laundry like crazy, non-stop. Two days later, wham. I felt like I was at 3 weeks recovery again. Groin pain, pulling, shooting pain occassionally, pressure and burning inside (maybe at vaginal cuff? Can't tell exactly). Very heavy legs and tired. I've been taking it easy since then but I still have the swelly belly and 'burning/pressure' in there. I am sure we are still healing for several months and we cannot know when we irritate our insides until it is too late. That irritation may cause the selly belly too.

Thank you for your reply. I've had the 'heavy legs' & mentioned it to Dr. at my post op. Basically, lack of exercise, muscles not being used would do that, no physiological reason for it (is what he said) but I definately notice it after being more active than usual.

I've been trying to take it easy, but we all know how hard it is sometimes especially when you're feeling really good!

Thanks again for sharing.. it's nice to know that I'm not alone! :-)
