days post of LAVH. What is normal for bowels?

Hi! I'm 3 days post op today. I know this is probably going to be different for everyone but I wanted to see if my bowel behavior is normal. Sorry if this is TMI.

I had a BM in my first post op day. I've since had 2 more regular BMs up to last night. In the middle of the night last night my bowels were really active. I had a solid BM and then a half hour later had diarrhea. I was surprised to have another BM so soon this morning and it was soft/solid. There's lots of rumbling going on in my stomach this morning.

Is this much activity normal? I haven't had much of an appetite so I've been eating small bland meals. The only pain meds I've been taking is 800mg Motrin.

Bowels are different for everyone I am 8 days post op and have not had a single one yet! Since you are eating small meal and going that often be sure to drink lots and lots of water you can become dehydrated very quickly with that, I would also call the Dr. going that often with small meals seems like too much to me better safe then sorry.
