Re: Getting in the lake? - one week post-op

It's interesting all the differences in doctor's opinions. Mine said baths were OK Day 1. And I have taken a long bath everyday and enjoyed it! . Heading to watch the Astros tonight.

Re: Getting in the lake? - one week post-op

I swam in a chlorinated pool today with my doctor's blessing - 17 days post op from a TAH. My incision is well healed and I'm feeling pretty well.

Re: Getting in the lake? - one week post-op

wow I wish my doctor still wont let me have tub bath. I am wanting to get into the pool so BAD. I go for my 6 week post op and I am going to find out if I can go swimming now. Keeping my fingers crossed.
I know it is hard to watch the kids swimming and not being able to go in also.
