Going back to original Doctor

Hello Ladies,
Well I went to see my Dr. on Friday. I told him I stopped taking the BC pills because they were not working. This time he put me on Bextra, told me to take it for pain. He didn't explain what it was, so I looked it up and found out that it was an anti-inflammatory medicine. I left my first Dr. who I had gone to for years, who delivered my last 2 children, because when he mentioned Hyst, I panicked and ran to get a 2nd opinion. So this Dr. put on meds that did not work. And keeps putting me off. If I had stayed with the original Dr. I would probably be a princess by now. I am a lot like a lot of other ladies, thinking am I bad off enough to even need the surgery. Because I bleed 3-5 days 3 heavy, I am in pain ONLY during my period and a few days before. I had 2 failed ablations, that the 1st Dr. did, and after they failed he said a hyst was next. And I went running. But when I am in pain and bleeding, I realize I am ready. Second opinions are always good. But I am going back to my original Dr. I told him everything and he is my friend and healthcare partner and is really to take me back with open arms.

I am glad you are with the Dr. you have trust in. That is very important.
