no hot flashes

I am always very cold i have had one hot flash if you could call it that..even after all these since i had this done it has made me and kept me depressed....may be in my head dr was intially going to do a vaginal then changed her mind and did it on the bikini line....ans since i am new here i do not know if i am posting in the right area...help

Hi. Sorry, but I'm not quite sure I'm understanding what your question is.

Are you on any HRT?

Are you saying the one and only symptom is depression?

I don't have hot flashes or night sweats, instead I get cold flushes and feel cold all of the time - especially my hands and feet. I'm also hypothyroid, have been on medication for years but I think the menopause has thrown it off. I'd suggest getting your thyroid checked and talk to your Dr about hrt if you haven't already.

No i was on a small dose of HRT after total hysterectomy 11 years ago had one hot flash after about 2 weeks after..one of my sisters had one 2 years ago ..said she feels like a oven burning inside..as for me i am freezing all the time..since i gad mine...even more so since i was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism 2 years ago...do not get me wrong i am thankful i do not have hot flashes..
