TAH swollen tender breasts

I had my 6 weeks check up today and was released to go back to work. I feel pretty good considering I broke out in shingles 2 weeks ago. The only thing that I am really noticing right now is that my breasts are HUGE and very tender. I initially thought I was just gaining weight and I did gain about 5 lbs but nothing that would make them 2 sizes bigger. I kept my right ovary so Im not on HRT. With everything that I discussed with my doctor, I completely forgot to mention my swollen breasts. Does anyone know anything about this? I will call my doctor in the morning but just curious if anyone had this happen to them and how it was resolved.

Glad to hear that I'm not alone. Mine hurt too I just thought it might be normal I have both of my ovaries but I don't know if they have kicked back in yet my dr said it might take a minute. Still confused on some things.

Mine are okay right now, but about a week after surgery they were so sore and tender and painful. I have heard from several people and nurses that it is normal after hysterectomy. I have one ovary so I wasn't expecting that but it was crazy pain! Hope you feel better soon!
