Uterine Ulcer

I just got back from 1 week check-up. I'm healing well and got the OK to drive today. I still have to wait a week before using the sweeper and beginning to do some of my normal housework, etc.

Pathology report showed everything was OK. Doc did say that I had stage 3 endo with a good deal of it around my bowels (explains so many of my symptoms). He also said that I had significant endo in my uterus and had developed an ulcer.

Has anyone ever heard of this? Was the ulcer due to all of the endo? He just really caught me off guard by telling me that and I'm just a bit confused.

Thanks for the search suggestion, Elaine! I hadn't even thought of that! Unfortunately, all that shows up are posts where a stomach ulcer is mentioned.

I asked my husband exactly what my doc said.....According to him, I had Stage 3 endo and endo inside of my uterus which had caused an ulcer to form. Wouldn't that be considered adenomyosis? Since adenomyosis can cause lesions in the uterus, I would think that's the ulcer my doc was referring to. Any thoughts??
