Surgery went well with just a few hitches

My doctor did. Fantastic surgery and I am sitting in my room resting for the night. When he got in there, he found A LOT of on endo on both ovaries, so he took them both. Originally we had planned to keep my right ovary but the doctor could tell I would just be back to take it out later. Glad he Made that call but also scared that I will have to deal with surgical menopause.

One thing the dr. Found is scar tissue on my bowl next to my kidneys. I have never been in a wreck so I don't know where it came from. The cool thing was that he repaired it and took out all the scar tissue out.

So far pain feels like the pin I have had to deal with with my painful periods so I am actually surprised. I get to try and walk in about an hour so we will see how that goes. I am SO glad the surgery is over and I don't have to worry about the waiting game.

My nurses have been awesome!!!

There are many reasons for scar tissue, including the presence of endometriosis! So, I am guessing that was the culprit!
