Yeast infection?
If it's not one thing it's another! Woke up last night clawing myself!!! When I got up this morning I felt like I have a yeast infection. I am 2 weeks post op. I'm not sure if I should just take something OTC or call Dr. I know if I call Dr, they tell me to come in.
Has anyone else had a yeast infection post op? If so, what did you do?

Sorry to hear about your yeast infection.  Both yeast and bacterial infections can be quite common after a hyster.
Do not use an OTC remedy, call your dr. When they say noting in the vagina they mean nothing. They will prescibe a pill like Diflucan or something like it.

definitely dont try to treat yourself with otc meds when you dont know what you have. you shouldnt put anything in your vagina for 6 weeks and your dr should check you to make sure it isnt bv or something else.

Sorry to hear about the infection, tauruslady is right! I got an infection post op too, so please make sure you go to your Dr and have them prescribe you something - you wouldn't want it to spread.
