Surgery and MS

During this stressful time, I am also in the process of being tested for MS. I have put off my LP (lumbar puncture). Can't deal with that right now. Does anyone have MS that can share if it changes anything as far as this surgery/recuperation goes? My neurologist told me it's fine but didn't satisfy my questions. I'm going to an MS specialist after my surgery. Thanks for any info!

Re: Surgery and MS

Hi, wanted to give you a .

I don't have MS but can imagine that being tested for that
right now while preparing for the castle is extra stressful.

I do have Fibromyalgia and I have a strong feeling for me that I am going to need the full 6 weeks and then some to get back to where I was.

Between the fibro and the pelvic stuff I have very little energy now and my pain levels are double.

I plan to make sure everyone knows that I have fibro at the hospital so that I can hopefully stay one step ahead of the pain.

Hopefully someone else will come along that knows more about MS.

Did you talk with your gyno that is doing the surgery to see what their thoughts are in relation to the MS and surgery?

Sending best wishes your way. Hope this helps some.
