Cystcele...Anyone?

I had a LAVH w/daVinci assist (they took everything) on Dec. 18. I also had some repair work to lift my bladder up since it was prolapsed.

I just a little over 2 weeks post op, and today it feels like my bladder is ciming out. This may be TMI, but I can touch it (the bladder) just like I could before surgery. Could I have torn something? I have accidently lifted my 3 year old a few times (40 pounds) and the other night I wwas sweeping. (I know, dumb).

Is this normal? Please advise. Thanks in advance!

p.s. it is amazing to me how virtually EVERYONE thinks I should be 100% OK by now.

Re: Cystcele...Anyone?

I had a TAH with a bladder resuspension 4 weeks ago. Don't know if it is possible for it to fall after repair without pain & bleeding, but I just wanted to send you good thoughts that everything is ok. I'm definitely nervous about hurting my repair - it was a big part of the reason I did the surgery.

Sounds like you need to check in with your doc - hope you get good news. And put the broom away!
