too sore..stress related?

Day 17 on the other side, all went well been moving walking (not over doing it) even had several ***** frustrating moments but besides serious sleep deprivation my family is undergoing a lot of stress out of our control, my dh is shielding me from most but I'm aware, crying all time, today I can hardly move, is this a culmination of things or normal? Up to now I've had good days and bad but today i can hardly move out of bed, is stress playing a part in this? Xx

Re: too sore..stress related?

It's totally normal. I'm at 4 weeks and had a 'good' day yesterday. Went and had a pedicure, a quick stop at the drugstore and then pretty much stayed in bed the rest of the day. So naturally I wake up today in pain and feeling crummy. Yesterday, I felt certain I would have no problem going back to work at 6 weeks, today - I'm thinking 'no way'. I currently have no stress, no one to take care of but me (son at college, hubby home in evenings) and I still experience bad days.

It's just a long recovery with lots of ups and downs. Of course, stress and hormones also play into it but you just have to rest as much as possible and know recovery is not a straight line.
